A WEDDING DAY FOR THE NOSTALGIC LOVER.

As I sit down to write about the beauty of M + L’s mid-September wedding, I find myself listening to Hozier on repeat. From the moment I met M + L, I could not only feel the admiration that they have for each other - but I understood how important the details were to their hearts and loved ones. As a big believer that the little things are really the big things in life, “it’s all in the details” rings true. From the golden glow of the candlelit tablescapes, an intricately planned playlist, their home movies playing on a projector across the wall of their reception space, a sea of camcorders + old film cameras, even down to a dress that M wore - passed between generations - their wedding day was filled with intention and sentiment. It meant so much to me that these two chose me as their photographer - to document and transform their memories into tangible photographs, to look back on forever. ♡
